Water Decaffeination Process — the natural way to enjoy coffee without the buzz. โโจ
Here's how it works:
- Soak: Green (unroasted) coffee beans are soaked in hot water to dissolve the caffeine and flavor compounds.
- Filter: The water is then passed through a carbon filter that traps and removes only the caffeine.
- Re-soak: The flavor-rich, caffeine-free water (called “Green Coffee Extract”) is reused to soak a new batch of beans — this way, they keep their original taste while losing the caffeine.
- Dry: The beans are dried and ready to roast — now 97–99.9% caffeine-free! ๐
